Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a burglary. Unknown subjects broke into a house and stole jewelry.

Officer Bartunek arrested Jodie Stone, 34, of Waldoboro for failing to appear as subpoenaed.

Officer Kozer investigated an accident on Old Route 1 at 4:55 p.m. Christopher Heald, 22, of Cushing was driving a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck that sustained $5,000 in damage. Bethany Overlock, 40, of Warren was driving a 1998 Ford pickup truck that sustained $1,000 in damage. Overlock was stopped in the southbound lane of Atlantic Highway, waiting to turn left onto Old Route 1. Heald stated he was unsure but he believes he was looking down and when he looked up he saw Overlock and attempted to avoid the truck by steering right. The Chevrolet struck the rear end of the Ford.

Officer Kozer investigated a report from a resident that an all-terrain vehicle was trespassing on property she is in charge of. The subject was found and warned on trespass.

Officer Kozer is investigating a report from a resident that someone put sugar in her boat gas tank.

May 28

Officer Bartunek summoned Anne Marie Fogg, 41, of Bristol for a seat belt violation and unregistered motor vehicle.

Officer Bartunek summoned Robert Fusillo, 19, of Waldoboro for an inspection violation and failing to show proof of insurance.

Officer Bartunek summoned Philip Cohen, 42, of Waldoboro for transporting a dog in an open vehicle.

May 29

June 1

Officer Kozer investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 6:31 a.m. Eric Lugar, 35, of Tenants Harbor was driving a 2007 Toyota four-door sedan that sustained $700 in damage. Michael Deangelo, 31, of Yarmouth was driving a 2006 Toyota four-door sedan that sustained $3,000 in damage. Lugar was southbound on Atlantic Highway when he veered into the northbound lane and struck Deangelo. Deangelo was northbound. Deangelo complained of pain in the back area.

Officer Kozer investigated an accident on Winslow’s Mills Road at 8:05 a.m. Clyde Braun, 58, of Waldoboro was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck that sustained $2,000 in damage. The vehicle was northbound on Winslow’s Mills Road when the operator reportedly fell asleep and drove off the side of the road striking a DOT sign, causing approximately $50 in damage to the sign.

Officer Kozer investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 9:57 a.m. Edward Feeney, 65, of Portland was driving a 2006 Chevrolet sport-utility vehicle that sustained $5,000 in damage. Dean Slye, 91, of Waldoboro was driving a 2011 Subaru four-door sedan that sustained $10,000 in damage. There were no injuries. Feeney was northbound on Atlantic Highway. Slye was southbound on Atlantic Highway. Slye was making a left turn onto Main Street, when Feeney drove into the left turn only lane and passed a vehicle on the right. Feeney did not see Slye, who was making a legal left turn, and struck the Subaru.

Officer Kozer arrested Richard Austin, 33, of Waldoboro on warrants.

Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on Bremen Road at 4:31 p.m. Terry Emerson, 58, of Friendship was driving a 2010 Ford pickup truck that sustained minor damage. Staci Murray, 29, of Waldoboro was driving a 2003 Chrysler passenger car. Emerson was stopped in Goodnow’s parking lot waiting to pull out onto Bremen Road. Murray turned onto Bremen Road from Main Street and then turned left into Goodnow’s parking lot. Emerson backed up as Murray entered the parking lot and struck the Chrysler. There were no injuries.

As the result of the accident, Staci Murray was charged with operating after suspension.

June 2

Detective Mitchell summoned Steven Thibodeau, 48, of Friendship for domestic violence terrorizing.

Officer Dutil summoned Heather Faria, 43, of Waldoboro for speed.

Officer Dutil summoned Tammi Dibert, 34, of Waldoboro for a seat belt violation.

Officer Dutil summoned Matthew Fake, 39, of Waldoboro for a seat belt violation.
