Join the Medomak Valley Land Trust for a scenic boat ride down the river on Saturday, June 18 as part of Waldoboro Day. Enjoy views of the shoreline, seabirds, seals and the village on the return to town.

Rides will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. and will depart from the Waldoboro town landing off of Pine Street. There is no charge but donations are appreciated to help offset the cost of fuel.

MVLT will be featured in the Waldoboro Day parade. To participate in the parade be sure to be at the VFW by 9:30 a.m.. Also, don’t forget about the yard sale running from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Waldoboro Library, where MVLT will have a table.

The land trust will also host an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their office at 25 Friendship St. Stop by for refreshments, for a chance to check out maps, and pictures of the watershed. MVLT staff members and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about volunteer opportunities and the land trust’s work.
