Jackson Memorial Library in Tenants Harbor is now accepting donations of books, plants, volunteers, and assorted items for the annual Book Fair Saturday, July 16. Gently used and new books will be sorted by category or author for display during the fair; no academic texts, encyclopedias or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books will be accepted.

Perennials and houseplants can be left at the library. Volunteers are also available to dig and pick up plants; Contact the library to arrange a time for pick up. Donations of household items and costume jewelry are also accepted during regular library hours. Clothing, sheets or electronics will not be accepted. The library is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Volunteers are also needed before, during, and after Book Fair day. Able bodied people with trucks are needed for set up and break down of the fair. If interested please contact library to sign up for specific hours.
