Inanna, Sisters in Rhythm; and Kari Luehman and Anna Witholt Abaldo of Maine 5Rhythms will present an evening of sacred drumming and dancing to celebrate the summer solstice Sunday, June 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at High Mountain Hall, 5 Mountain St.
The evening will begin with a drum circle led by Inanna and progress to expressing rhythmic community via the transformational power of movement. The practice of 5Rhythms dancing, created by Gabrielle Roth, is often described as moving meditation. There are no steps to follow, no choreography to learn, no way to “do it wrong.”
