The Treasures Rerun Sale on Saturday, June 18 in the parking lot of the Waldoboro Public Library at 958 Main St. will be no exception. The sale, sponsored by The Friends of the Waldoboro Public Library will run from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. To assist individuals browsing and shopping, fresh muffins, cookies, coffee and bottled water will be available for purchase.

A friend of the Waldoboro library is emptying his fly fishing closet of some paraphernalia. There are two Orvis bamboo rods, a Madison 7-and-a-half foot Midge-4 to 5 weight, and an 8 foot Battenkill-5 to 7 weight. In addition, a very nice custom 9 foot 4 weight graphite plus more glass and graphite sticks are included. All are in rod tubes. Close to 500 flies in a Richardson chest fly box are also for sale. Tackle boxes and a little trout net round out the selection of items available to fly fishermen.

Several people in the community and from surrounding areas have purchased spaces to display and sell their wares making this Waldoboro Day Sale even bigger and better. In addition, The Friends of the Library will also have tables filled with donated items for sale including pottery, accessories for the home, children’s games and toys, and so much more. Stop by on the way to and from the downtown events and check out the bargains. If individuals make purchases early in the day and don’t want to carry items around, the volunteers will be happy to mark the bags and safely stow them for later.

The Book Barn, located at 995 Main St. in Waldoboro, will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Here is the perfect opportunity to select summer reading books from a large selection of fiction, non-fiction, mysteries and children’s books.
