Rockland’s Penobscot School is inaugurating an “Exchange Visitor” program this July. The first exchange visitor is Mario Ramos Villa from Puebla, Mexico. Señor Villa taught Spanish at the school between 2002 and 2003, and is happily looking forward to renewing acquaintances here with friends from the past.

Mario will be here for the entire month of July. Among his activities will be helping out in July term foreign language courses, including two “Español Estival” Summer Spanish courses beginning July 7 and July 11 respectively. Both are targeted to intermediate and early intermediate Spanish speakers.

There will be a welcome reception for Mario at the school (28 Gay St. in Rockland) on Wednesday, July 6 at 5:30 p.m. All are invited.
