James ‘Jimmy’ Shaffer service notice

There will be a memorial ride, funeral service and party/reception in memory of James “Jimmy” Shaffer (April 7, 1960 – March 11, 2011) on Saturday, June 11. Riders should meet at Trackside Station, 4 Union St., to leave at 1 p.m. and ride to Achorn Cemetery on Old County Road, rain or shine. The service at Achorn will begin at 1:30 p.m. Immediately following the service, there will be a reception at the Winslow-Holbrook-Merritt Post No. 1 American Legion Hall, 335 Limerock St. Attendees are asked to donate generously in Shaffer’s name; all donations will go directly to the American Legion.
