Local singer/songwriter and guitarist Scott Simmons will perform in the Velvet Lounge series Saturday, June 11. The music will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rock City Books & Coffee, 328 Main St.

Simmons promises to bring rarities, oddities and originals to the Rock City stage. As usual there is no cover charge; however, tipping the musicians is highly encouraged. For more information, call 594-4123.
