The Penobscot Bay YMCA is providing free transportation to all Regional School Unit 13 students in grades 5 to 12 this summer to the Teen Center in Camden. The YMCA bus will run Monday through Friday, starting June 20.

– The bus will pick up at South School, Rockland at 11:45 a.m.

– Departure time from the Teen Center will be at 4:30 p.m.

– Drop off time at South School in Rockland will be at 4:45 p.m.

Registration and waiver forms must be completed before boarding the bus. To register, please call the YMCA at 236-3375, spaces are limited. All waiver forms can be picked up at the Rockland Middle School office, the YMCA and Teen Center or by visiting the Teen Center section of the website at penbayymca.org. Forms should be turned into the school no later than June 17.

Once at the Teen Center, children are welcome to relax, watch a movie, play Wii and arcades, shoot some hoops, join in an art project, make some music and new friends, skateboard or just hang out. The Teen Center offers kids a free membership and unstructured program activities while being supervised by a great group of fun and caring staff.
