Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne said June 3 that he had placed a Camden police officer on paid administrative leave on June 1.
He referenced it as a personnel matter and said the officer is on leave for an “undetermined amount of time, aspects of which will remain confidential and will be dealt with in due time.”
Camden’s police department employs nine full time officers. Gagne declined to discuss the officer’s identity or the reason for the paid administrative leave.
