A celebration of life for Winifred V. “Winnie” Burton, 87, longtime Monhegan resident, who died peacefully May 12, 2011, at Cushing Homestead, will be held Saturday, June 4 at 2 p.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland. Interment will follow at Seaview Cemetery in Rockport.
