There will be a memorial service followed by a reception for James R. Philbrook, 65, husband of Ruth A. Philbrook, who died Jan. 18, 2011, on Saturday, May 28 at 1 p.m. at the Union Church in Vinalhaven. Elder Robert Candage will officiate. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
