What is being described as a small, spontaneous gathering will celebrate Bob Dylan’s 70th birthday in Rockport.
Doug Day said Wallwork: the Gallery was his “favorite hip, new spot in Rockport.”
“If you come, we’ll all just fit, standing up, being hip, digging this new beat-nik, Bob Dylan, or, at least, some of his tunes warbled by local songsters,” Day wrote in a press release. “Bring one of your own if you like, to add to the mix.”
The event is free of charge and people are encouraged to “invite your friends since there’ll be no more room anyway.”
The celebration will begin Tuesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. Wallwork is located at 67 Pascal Ave. in Rockport.
