Registration for the Waldoboro Babe Ruth baseball team has begun.
Children who live in Waldoboro and Friendship and surrounding communities ages 13-15 as of May 1, 2011 are eligible for Babe Ruth.
Tryouts will be Sunday, May 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Charles “Chuck” Begley Memorial Field located in the Waldoboro Recreation Complex.
Games will start soon and continue into July.
Those interested in playing, or if unable to make the upcoming tryout, should call coach Richard Williamson at 504-7297.
Any parent or community member interested in supporting the Waldoboro Babe Ruth program should contact Williamson.
