Linda A. Clark, 63, of Haines Meadow Road, passed away unexpectedly May 12, 2011, at Mercy Hospital.

She was born in Rockland on Dec. 20, 1947, the daughter of the late Grant and Leona Young, and graduated from Rockland High School.

For many years, she worked for AT&T as an operator; however, her work at Jack Memorial School in Buxton and Andover schools’ libraries was what was most important to her.

Linda enjoyed playing pool and collecting stamps. She was also an avid Western fan; Western movies with Gene Autry and the atmosphere of the Old West was a long pastime.

Linda was predeceased by her son, Bryan D.A. Clark; and a brother, David Grant Young Jr.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel A. Clark; her daughter, Heather Clark of Concord, N.H.; her twin sister, Lorraine S. Coakley of Plaistow, N.H.; her twin brothers, Robert Young of South Thomaston and Richard Young of Livingston, Texas; her granddaughter, Trinity Bryanne Clark; and many kids who called her “Mom.”
