Anita E. Moran, 60, of Bradenton, Fla., died May 6, 2011, at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Anita lived in Rockland with her son and his family for two years. She loved spending time with her huge family and her many friends. She loved to cook big traditional Spanish meals for her family and friends and hosted many dinners at her home.
Anita is survived by her younger sister, Aileen Phillips and her husband, Bobby; her children, Donna Tirado of Bradenton, Fla., Daisy Heidenreich and her husband, Richard, of Hosford, Fla., Rose Hogue of Tallahassee, Fla., Violet Rahmouni-Idrissi of St. Petersburg, Fla., Gordon Gill Jr. and his wife, Emily, of Rockland, Heather Zongua-Cardon of Bradenton, Fla., and Jean Gill of Palmetto, Fla.; her grandchildren, Joshua Richart, Jonathan Hooks, Amanda Cannon and her husband, Joseph Lee Cannon, Michael “Mikey” Champion, Jordan and Jeremiah Hogue, Fahd and Jihane Rahmouni, Crista, Trisha, Christian, Triston and Dillon Gill, Leah and Siri Fincher, Ernesto Jr. and Isabel Zongua-Cardon, and Jade and Tyler Gill; as well as two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and special friends.
At her request, a private ceremony for Anita’s children will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Simple Cremation of Palmetto, Fla.
