The Camden Hills girls lacrosse team suffered a 16-7 defeat to host Gardiner Tuesday.
Emma Young made 13 saves in the Windjammer goal, while Tiger Shawna Moulton had eight stops in net.
For the Windjammers, Maddie Buckley led the offense with three goals and an assist. Also Kristina Alex (goal, 2 assists), Julie Beauchense (goal, assist), Mia Maddox (goal, assist), Alice Flint (goal) and Libby Simpkins (assist) contributed to the offense.
Brooke Davis and Becca Paradee tallied five goals and two assists each for Gardiner. Also, Jen Day (3 goals, 3 assists), Hayley Thibeau (goal), Courtney Cotnoir (goal) and Caitlin Ham (goal) contributed offensively to the win.
Camden Hills (0-6, no points) is eighth (last) in the Maine Principals’ Association Heal Point Standings for Eastern Class B. Yarmouth (5-1, 33.3333 points) sits atop the eight-team region.
