This summer, the Medomak Valley High School cheering program will host a six-week tumbling class at the middle school.

The class starts Friday, June 17 and will teach beginning, intermediate and advanced tumbling skills specifically designed for cheerleaders.

Matt Hanley of Planet Cheer will teach the class. Hanley is a Tri-State Champion gymnast and has been recognized throughout New England.

Classes will be held at Medomak Middle School and are open to children entering grades 4-12. Two options are being offered. Option one offers classes Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to noon and will cost $120. Another option offers classes Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to noon and will cost $180.

Each class is limited to 12 students and spots will be secured with a $25 deposit.
