Controlled burn lights up Route 1

Motorists heading down Route 1 in Warren May 5 were witnesses to the spectacle of bright orange flames rising into the sky, but no alarms needed to be sounded. Mike Ross at Tom Fence Co. in Warren was burning some old fence material behind his business. He said it was an easier way to get rid of the wood than bringing it to the dump. Helping him in the effort were his sons.
