Floyd Mank, 81, passed away at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick on April 29, 2011. Floyd was born in Bremen on April 13, 1930, the son of Leroy and Nora Collamore Mank.

He attended local schools and worked for the state of Maine as a highway laborer for over 30 years.

Floyd loved to work and was busy all his life. He was always willing to help others in time of need. He loved to be out of doors. When he lived in Bremen he opened and operated a mini farm, growing flowers and vegetables to sell. When he moved to Warren, he spent his time planting flowers and keeping his lawn immaculate. Floyd and Esther enjoyed traveling around the states, calling them mini cruises, and would set off for an adventure on a spur of the moment.

Floyd will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Floyd was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Richard Mank; and one sister, Frances Benner.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther Miller Mank of Warren; his daughter, Sharon Chapman of New Harbor; his son, Stephen Mclean and wife, Jennifer, of Winslow; his granddaughters, Lynn Kitridge of Bristol and Laurie Lamarre of Nobleboro; 14 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Donald Mank and his wife, Oriana, of Nobleboro and David Mank and companion Francena Bennett of Bremen; his sister, Barbara McLaughlin of Bristol; his brother-in-law, Lemuel Miller of Finntown in Waldoboro; and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Miller and her husband, Phil, of Connecticut and Verleigh and her husband, Danny Sanborn, of Waldoboro.
