A rodent building its nest in an electrical box is believed to have caused a problem that drew firefighters from two towns to Lovers Lane April 29.
Smoke and electrical problems were reported just before 9 a.m. at 94 Lovers Lane. Firefighters from Cushing and Thomaston responded to the problem at the home of Stephen and Trina Ames.
No smoke or flames were visible at the scene. No one was injured.
The problem may have damaged the home’s electrical system and electronic devices.
