Linda Lee Thomas, 64, died peacefully at her home April 24, 2011.

Born in Rockland on April 26, 1946, she was the daughter of Charles F. and Dorothy Spooner Larrabee. She was educated in Rockland schools.

Linda lived in Rockland all her life where she raised her three sons. Later in life, she adopted two boys who she considered her own.

Over the years, she worked at various jobs and for a time, operated a daycare from her home.

She loved collecting moose and wind chimes. In earlier years she enjoyed crocheting.

Other than her parents, Linda was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Torrey in 1990.

She is survived by five sons, Bobbie J. Thomas Jr. and his wife, Lori, and Ricky O. Thomas, all of Rockland, Randy L. Thomas and his wife, Lorie, of Greenwood, Ind., and James C. Thomas and Shawn P. Thomas; two brothers, Albert Larrabee and Charles Larrabee, both of Rockland; one sister, Sadie “Susie” Brennan and her husband, Steven, of Springfield, Mass.; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Terri, Joseph, Nicholas and Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Noah; two longtime friends, Linda York of Fort Fairfield and Carolee Geel of Rockland; as well as several nieces and nephews.

No service will be held at this time.
