A public hearing on endorsement and approval of the Gateway 1 Interlocal Agreement will be on the agenda when the Camden Planning Board holds its regular meeting Wednesday, March 2 in the Washington Street Conference Room.

Prior to presenting the Gateway 1 agreement, the board will hold a public hearing on an amendment to the town’s subdivision ordinance that would require at least 75 percent of lots in a given subdivision to have certificates of compliance issued prior to a town meeting vote to accept that subdivision’s roads.

The hearing for the proposed subdivision ordinance change will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed at 6 p.m. by the hearing for the Gateway 1 plan endorsement and approval.

Both items will appear on the warrant for Camden’s annual town meeting, to be held June 14 and 15.

The March 2 public hearings will take place in the Washington Street Conference Room and will be televised on Channel 22. For more information, call the Camden Town Office at 236-3353.
