New Year’s resolutions need not be the source of frustration and disappointment, provided they come from within and include a clear action plan and a solid support system.

According to a news release from Camden-based certified Life Coach Nancy Lubin, who aims to help people develop and follow through on their resolutions during her seventh annual workshop called “Revolutionary Resolutions: New Year’s Resolutions from the Inside Out.” This interactive workshop will take place Saturday, Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at High Mountain Hall, 5 Mountain St., Camden.

Working together with Lubin and Camden artist and creativity teacher Donna Crane, workshop participants will take stock of 2010 and create a vision for the coming year. Creative visioning exercises will help each person identify personal goals that are energizing, fun and achievable. Each individual will then define strategies for staying on track and achieving success, on his or her own terms

Lubin, whose full-time coaching practice specializes in intentional living, encourages workshop participants to think about the previous year in 12 life areas and look for ways to move forward while still keeping pace with everyday responsibilities and activities. The idea is to help people zero in on goals that are rejuvenating and fun because they fit in with what truly motivates them.
