Everyone is invited to shake off those mid-winter blues and post-holiday blahs with great dance music by Three Button Deluxe, the Biggest Little Band in Maine. Three Button Deluxe will play a jump, jive and swing dance Saturday, Jan. 15 at Echo Hill Event Center, Route 131.

Doors will open 8:15 p.m. and the tunes will begin at 8:30 p.m. and run past midnight. There will be a cash bar and appetizers; event is for those 21 and older, and everyone is encouraged to dress to dance up a storm.

Three Button Deluxe features four of the Midcoast’s most accomplished musicians: guitar slinger Dave “Quick” Clarke; bass man Patrick “Daddy-O” Rowling; rhythm king William “Billy Rhythm” Batty Jr.; and sax man Tim “Doc” O’Dell. Their martini-ready groove combines a common love for the jumpin’ and jivin’ sounds of the ’40s and ’50s, zoot suits and retro-rocker threads and vintage instruments. Three Button Deluxe’s jazz, lounge and rockabilly is known for filling the dance floor, and Echo Hill’s is one of the best.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased in advance at WaterWorks Restaurant & Pub, Rockland; or online at eventsatechohill.com. Tickets also will be available at the door.
