An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Dec. 21

Officer Lloyd Daniels responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Fulton Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a car crash on Old County Road. There were no injuries.

Sgt. Don Finnegan responded to a harassment complaint.

Officer Daniels responded to a hit-and-run car crash in the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot.

Officer Daniels responded to a tobacco problem at Rockland District Middle School shortly before 2 p.m.

Sgt. Detective Chris Young responded to an identity theft complaint.

Officer Joseph Bates responded to an assault complaint on Waldo Avenue.

Officer Bates responded to a domestic complaint on Warren Street.

Officer Bates responded to a criminal mischief complaint at Park and Oliver streets.

Dec. 22

Officer Daniels responded to a custodial interference complaint on Lake Avenue.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a theft complaint.

Officer Daniels responded to an assault complaint on John Street. Joshua Nazworth, 26, was arrested for domestic assault.

Officer Daniels responded to a harassment complaint on Old County Road.

Officer John Bagley responded to a protection from abuse violation on Union Street. Kevin Montoya, 36, of Warren, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order.

Officer Bagley responded to a car crash on Camden Street by Goodwill. There were no injuries.

Officer Bagley responded to an assault complaint at Broadway and Rankin Street.

Officer Bagley responded to a harassment complaint on Forrest Avenue.

Officer Scott Solorzano responded to a theft complaint at T.J. Maxx & More. Suzanne Gardner, 44, of Rockland, was arrested for theft.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to an animal noise complaint on Frederick Street.

Dec. 23

Officer Bagley responded to a disorderly complaint at Broadway and Rankin Street.

Officer Solorzano responded to seven overnight parking violations.

Officer Daniels responded to a criminal mischief complaint at the State Farm insurance on Camden Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a car crash at the Rankin Block with a utility pole. The police report states that Krista E. Tripp, 25, of Spruce Head, was driving a four-door 2009 Ford vehicle south on Main Street when she turned right to make the corner onto Rankin Street. She had been arguing with a passenger and eating yogurt while driving and said she then hit black ice and lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a Central Maine Power pole. The accident report said there was no black ice and brake or skid marks. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,200.

Officer Bagley responded to a car/pedestrian crash at the intersection of Union and Summer streets. Jacqueline McLain, 79, of Rockland, was driving and struck Jade Southard, 21, of Rockland, as Southard was walking her dog. McLain told police she didn’t see Southard. Southard said she didn’t stop before walking into the crosswalk. Southard was wearing dark clothing when the crash occurred at 7 p.m. She complained of head and back pain but declined medical treatment.

Officer Bagley responded to a trespassing complaint on North Main Street.

Officer William Smith went to a domestic complaint at Coastal Fuel.

Dec. 24

Officer Smith went to a harassment complaint at Schooner Bay on Moran Drive.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a car crash on Maverick Street.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Maverick Street.

Officer Andrew Redden responded to a property damage car crash on Carrolls Lane. There were no injuries.

Officer Redden responded to an animal welfare complaint at Spruce and Maverick streets.

Dec. 25

Officer Andrew Crook responded to an animal welfare complaint on Limerock Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a nuisance complaint at the Rankin Center.

Officer Smith responded to a domestic complaint.

Officer Bates responded to a harassment complaint on Fulton Street.

Officer Bates responded to a harassment complaint on Knowlton Street.

Officer Bates responded to a threatening complaint on North Main Street.

Officer Redden responded to a disorderly complaint on Fulton Street.

Dec. 26

Officer Solorzano responded to a nuisance complaint on Pleasant Street.

Officer Bates responded to a burglary complaint on Grace Street.
