An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Maine State Police responded to the following calls in the Midcoast from Dec. 4 through Dec. 9.

Dec. 4

Trooper Scott Quintero traveled to Benner Lane in Friendship following a report that a subject from Friendship had taken too much of his prescribed medication. The subject was transported by ambulance to Penobscot Bay Medical Center.

Dec. 9

Trooper Patrick Hood investigated a criminal trespass complaint on the Sidelinger Road in Union. The suspect was warned on criminal trespass at that location.

Trooper Hood took a report of a stolen wood splitter from Hammond Tractor in Union. It was an American AM-25HH trailer mounted unit. It was last seen Oct. 22.
