Roberta Goschke’s still life, landscape and charcoal portraits are on display during the month of December at Waldoboro Public Library, 958 Main St./Route 220.

Goschke and her husband Bob Grant moved to Waldoboro in 2000 from Alexandria, Va., where she studied life drawing and oil painting at the Corcoran School of Art, Art League School of Alexandria and George Washington University.

Included in the library display are paintings of seasonal objects, namely Santa Claus and a few Teddy bears. Roses are a common irresistible theme for the artist, along with summer skies and landscapes. The works shown depict simple pleasures in the spirit of enjoyment especially during the holiday time.

Goschke exhibits her work at the Ingram Art and Antiques Gallery in Wiscasset and her gallery in Waldoboro during the warmer months.
