An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Rockland police responded to the following calls from Nov. 15 through Nov. 18.

Nov. 15

Officer William Smith responded to a harassment complaint at the library on Union Street.

Officer Lloyd Daniels responded to a juvenile problem.

Officer Smith responded to a juvenile problem at the intersection of Lincoln and Summer streets shortly after 11 a.m.

Officer Daniels responded to an intoxication complaint on Old County Road.

Officer Smith responded to a harassment complaint.

Detective Sgt. James Pease responded to a car striking a deer on Route 17 near the Old County Road intersection.

Detective Sgt. Pease responded to a nuisance complaint on Limerock Street.

Detective Sgt. Pease responded to a juvenile problem at the Rockland Fish Pier.

Rockland police issued tickets to the following people for seat belt violations: Casey Robinson, 19, Union; Alexandra Niles, 19, Union; Meagan Rideout, 25, Winterport; Anna Pennell, 24, Rockland; Christina Lord, 24; Tori Austin, 45, Appleton; and Trenna Bragg, 28, Warren.

Nov. 16

Michael Thompson, 32, of Lincolnville was arrested for violation of conditions of release, operating under the influence, and operating after revocation.

Officer Daniels responded to a harassment complaint on Rocky Hill Avenue.

Officer Daniels responded to a car crash on Spruce Street by the entrance to the Rockland Harbor Plaza Shopping Center. There were no injuries.

Deputy Police Chief Wallace Tower responded to a theft complaint at the corner of Bog and Mountain roads.

Officer Scott Solorzano responded to a stray animal complaint on the Bog Road.

Officer Joel Neal responded to an overdose complaint on Gamage Lane.

Steven Williams, 45, of Lincolnville was arrested for felony operating under the influence (two priors), and operating without a license. He was also issued a ticket for a seat-belt violation and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public way.

Trevor Curtis, 19, of Rockland was issued a ticket for operating without a license.

Rockland police issued tickets to the following people for seat belt violations: Wesley Taylor, 26, Chelsea; Trevor Curtis, 19, Rockland; and Wyatt Weaver, 25, Cushing.

Nov. 17

Officer Jillson responded to a car crash on Lawn Avenue involving a city public works truck backing into a car. There were no injuries.

Officer Jillson responded to a domestic complaint on Talbot Avenue.

Officer Daniels responded to a domestic complaint at the Thorndike apartments on Main Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a threatening complaint on Camden Street.

Officer Daniels responded to three theft complaints at Rockland District High School on Broadway between 9 and 10 a.m.

Officer Jillson responded to a juvenile problem at the Region 8 school on South Main Street shortly before noon.

Officer Jillson responded to a theft complaint at Lucky Dog on Main Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a hit-and-run car crash in the Hannaford parking lot off Maverick Street.

Officer Andrew Redden responded to an animal problem on Clayton Lane.

Officer Solorzano responded to a disorderly complaint at the Thorndike apartments.

Officer Redden responded to a domestic complaint on Brewster Street.

The following people were issued tickets for seat belt violations: Philippe Sanze, 40, of Rockland; Tina Tucker, 36, Rockland; and Ann Tuttle, 59, Rockland.
