Ragged Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club is seeking quality amateur films to be shown as part of its fifth annual Ragged Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club Movie and Film Contest event Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Bayview Street Cinema starting at 3 p.m.

The selected films will be screened prior to the feature film, “Revolver” by Poor Boyz Productions. The top amateur filmmaker will win a cash prize of $50.

Films must be submitted for juried review to Chris Walker Spencer no later than noon Monday, Nov. 29. Films must be no longer than 10 minutes in length and must feature non-motorized outdoor activities. Winter-related sports films are most encouraged. The films must be age-appropriate for all audiences.

For more information on submitting films, send e-mail to Chris_WalkerSpencer@fivetowns.net or call Tom Albertson at 975-7510.

Last year’s contests offered some great homemade films. The film event is part of Camden’s Christmas by the Sea celebration. Admission will be $5 at the door.
