The September Eagles of the Month at Rockland District Middle School are Kimberly Roman, Lily McVetty, Autumn Young and Katie Cormier.

Fifth-grader Kimberly Roman is the daughter of Chris and Amy Roman. She is consistently on the honor roll. Her hobbies and interests include figure skating, softball and rollerblading.

Sixth-grader Lily McVetty is the daughter of Minda McVetty. She participated in Destination Imagination (state championship team) for the past two years and the RDMS Eagles soccer team for one year. She is consistently on the honor roll. Her hobbies and interests include skating, skiing and soccer, summer camp, and spending time with friends and family.

Seventh-grader Autumn Young is the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Young. She participated in RASA. She is occasionally on the honor roll. Her hobbies and interests include photography.

Eighth-grader Katie Cormier is the daughter of Joseph and Veronica Cormier. She is consistently on the honor roll. She participated on the rowing team. Her hobbies and interests include rowing and being on the water.

All Eagle candidates were nominated by staff members and then chosen via an Eagle committee prior to a school-wide announcement. Each Eagle receives a recognition certificate, an Eagle sweatshirt and a field trip opportunity at the end of the year.
