The Maine Developmental Disabilities Council and the Disability Rights Center of Maine will hold a public forum on Monday, Nov. 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Rockland at the Rockland Public Library, at 80 Union Street. The organizations are seeking input from individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, educators, community service providers, and other interested parties regarding services and other issues of concern that affect opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to achieve independence and full inclusion in their local communities. Public input is vital to these organizations in determining priorities for their work, according to a press release.
