The Metropolitan Opera’s Peabody and Emmy award-winning “The Met: Live in HD” series continues its fifth season, featuring 12 live transmissions to theaters worldwide, Saturday, Nov. 13 with a new production of Gaetano Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale.” The opera will begin at 1 p.m. at the Strand Theatre, 345 Main St.

Anna Netrebko sings Norina, the role that made her a Met star, in this comedy. Matthew Polenzani sings Ernesto, Mariusz Kwiecien sings Dr. Malatesta and John Del Carlo fills the title role. James Levine will be conducting this opera for the first time.

Individual seats are $27. Encore performances are Tuesdays at 1 p.m., 10 days after the live performance. Encore tickets are $23, general admission.
