The help of the community is needed to raise $800 in order to ensure that Camden’s Christmas tree will again shine brightly from Harbor Park during the 2010 holiday season.

While the tree itself is donated by West Bay Rotary, there are costs associated with placing, raising, lighting, and maintaining the tree throughout the holidays and removing it afterwards- special care being needed due to its position in a park that’s on the National Register of Historic Places.

To help keep the tree lit and shining, you can send your contributions (of any size, as every little helps) to Alicia Bagnall at the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce at PO Box 919, Camden, ME 04843. Please mark your check “Christmas Tree”. Alternatively, you can make a contribution by credit- or debit card by calling Alicia at 236-4404 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
