On Thursday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m., Julia’s Gallery for Young Artists at the Farnsworth and the Strand Theatre will present the world premiere of a youth-produced music video featuring Lincolnville singer/songwriter Alexis Pastuhov.

The 7:30 p.m. red carpet event at the Strand Theatre, 345 Main St., will be followed by the film premiere at 8 p.m. The evening is free and open to the public.

In addition to the red carpet event outside of the theater and the music video itself, the evening will include a documentary on the making of the film and a question and answer period, as well as a live performance by Pastuhov.

This project is a joint collaboration between the two presenting organizations. Over a two-month period, participants were involved in pre-production, directing, screenwriting, acting, camera work, set photography, sound and post-production, working under the guidance of director Nicole Marie Fuller and production designer Virginia Hastings. Together, they created a music video, shot entirely on the iPhone, titled “Alexis Pastuhov’s The Roaring 20s.” The 1920s themed video features fantastical montages and vintage zombies. Scott Anthony Smith of Brooks and Watershed School student Devin Fletcher appear in featured roles.

Guests are invited to come dressed in classic 1920s attire, walk the red carpet and join in a meet-and-greet with the filmmakers. No reservations are required.
