The public is invited to an All Souls Regatta on Sunday, Nov. 7. David Jones, Chris Biggart, John Hanson and nine others will sail Laser sailboats in Thomaston Harbor to raise funds for Coastal Family Hospice Volunteers, each donating or raising $100 per boat entry or more.

Spectators are welcome to participate in a raffle to win a one-week vacation at a cottage in Prince Edward Island and to bid on the following silent auction items.

Registration for Laser sailors will begin at 8:45 a.m. at Chris Biggart’s boathouse, 54 Water St. in Thomaston. The skippers’ meeting is scheduled for 9:45 a.m., with a 10:30 a.m. launch and the first race set to start at 11 a.m.

Lunch consisting of chowder, bread, cider, coffee and sweets will be provided by Coastal Family Hospice Volunteers and served at 1:30 p.m., to be followed at 2:30 p.m. by awards. The raffle and silent auction will close at 3 p.m.
