The Humane Society of Knox County is sponsoring a rabies clinic on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Warren Fire Department on Western Road in Warren. Dr. Craig Underhill from Warren Animal Hospital will be in attendance.

The cost is $10, cash only. There have been incidents of rabies in the Midcoast area so now is a great time to be proactive. Even though pets may be indoors, a rabies vaccination is still a good idea. Protect your companion animals with a vaccination.

Please bring cats in a proper pet carrier and dogs on a leash and last record of rabies shot if applicable. Kittens must be at least three months old and puppies must be at least four months old.

For more information about the clinic or the organization call 594-2200 or visit their Web site at www.hskcME.org.
