Learn a simple step-by-step formula to support one through piecing comfortable traditional blocks, then stretching one’s imagination with contemporary transition blocks. This class, taught by nationally recognized quilting teacher Cheri Raymond, will have one moving from comfortable to creative combinations as one gains confidence. The group will work in a creative studio space with lots of sharing and inspiration from classmates and the instructor, and new ideas and design possibilities will begin to flow. Basic quilt block piecing and sewing skills required. Class meets for four weeks from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 25.
