Aqua Maine reported 5.78 inches of precipitation during September 2010 at the Mirror Lake Weather Station.

Last year, 2.56 inches of precipitation fell in September. The September average is 3.94 inches. The year-to-date precipitation is 46.85 inches. The year-to-date precipitation last year was 51.92 inches. The year-to-date precipitation for an average year is 34.34 inches.

The lowest total precipitation for September from the Aqua Maine records was in 1914 when 0.24 inches was recorded. The highest total was in 1994 when 15.26 inches was recorded.

The warmest day of the month was Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 when the mercury hit 90 degrees. The coldest day was Sept. 27 when the maximum temperature was 56 degrees.

Mirror Lake is approximately 4.4 feet from full. There were 94,500,000 gallons of water delivered to the distribution system in September. Aqua Maine said 36,550,000 gallons of water were pumped from Grassy Pond to Mirror Lake.
