The Chamber’s live auction will be held Friday, Oct. 15 at the Rockland Elks Lodge, located at 210 Rankin St. in Rockland. The live auction preview is from 5 to 6 p.m., with the live auction starting at 6 p.m. There will be more than 80 live auction items, five $100 cash raffle prizes, one $250 cash raffle prize, raffle items/raffle gift certificates, a cash bar and a concession stand. Bruce Gamage will be the auctioneer.

The featured item this year is a FISHER HT Series snowplow from Fisher Engineering, valued at $5,240. The FISHER HT Series snowplow is engineered for today’s half-ton trucks, providing all the features you expect from FISHER in a standard-duty snowplow. The HT Series feature’s FISHER’S Minute Mount 2 On/Off system, INTENSIFIREHalogen headlamps and the original FISHER trip edge design. The blade width is seven feet, six inches. 

There will be raffle drawings of items and services every half-hour at the live auction starting at 6:30 p.m.

  • Raffle prize numbers will be announced throughout the evening – many prizes being raffled off, along with six cash prizes (five $100 cash raffle prizes, one $250 cash raffle prize).
  • Tickets: $5 for five tickets; $10 “Boogie Man” arm length; $20 for “Boogie Man” height length.

There also will be a $500 elimination drawing at the live event. The elimination drawing board consists of 100 numbers being sold at $20 each, in which one winner will receive a cash prize of $500. Every half-hour, starting at 6:30 p.m., 20 numbers will be randomly selected and removed from the board until only one number is left. This person will receive $500 in cash.
