An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Maine State Police responded to the following local calls from Sept. 27 to Oct. 2.

Sept. 27

Trooper Scott Quintero stopped a vehicle for operating in the oncoming lane. Quintero was responding to a separate call, traveling west on Route 17 with his emergency lights and sirens engaged. Michelle Marshall, 39, of Rockland was arrested and charged for operating under the influence of drugs.

Oct. 2

Trooper Quintero stopped a vehicle for speeding on Old County Road in Rockland. Duane Carr, 23, of Rockland was summoned for possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
