With the belief that no one should have to go through the grieving process alone, Coastal Family Hospice Volunteers is offering weekly support groups for anyone mourning the loss of a loved one. These sessions are free, open to the public, and may be attended on a drop-in basis.

On the first and third Wednesdays of the month, a group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the third floor library of Bartlett Woods, off Talbot Avenue, Rockland. And on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, a group meets from 12 to 1 p.m. at Coastal Family Hospice’s office. The entrance is in the back lower level of Maine Coast Eye Care at 34 Old County Road in Rockport.

Other limited-term groups are organized when a need arises. In the past, Coastal Family Hospice has sponsored groups for grieving parents and the survivors of suicide. For more information, please call 593-9355.
