“ArtinMe.,” a new state-wide juried art exhibition, will be open to the public Saturday, Oct. 16 through Nov. 16 at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation Gallery, 1 Townsend Ave. Hours will be Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission will be free.

This show will be a fresh and selective look at the art being done by Maine artists today showing originality and skill in the painting, drawing and sculpture media. The show will be juried by Philip Isaacson, art critic and writer for the Maine Sunday Telegram; and by Dennis Gleason of the Gleason Galleries in Portland and Boothbay Harbor. Sponsors of the awards are Knickerbocker Group, Sherman’s Books & Gifts and BRAF.

“ArtinMe.” is presented by the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the visual arts. Submissions will be accepted Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 12 and 13, between 9 a.m. and noon. Entry form and information is available at the gallery (633-2703) or online at boothbayartists.org.

“ArtinMe.” will be part of the 16-day Fall Arts & Cultural Celebration in the Boothbay Harbor region that includes music, authors, art gallery walks, art exhibitions, and art Lecture and a Fiber Arts Weekend. For more information, visit boothbayharbor.com.
