Photographer Patrisha McLean will be at Vinfest 2010 celebration at Cellardoor Winery on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. to sign the new Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League’s 2011 calendar featuring pictures she took of local municipal employees and shelter animals.

The is one of numerous events at Vinfest 2010 on Oct. 2.

The calendar, a first for the shelter, features pictures of Camden, Rockport and Lincolnville town managers, police and fire personnel posing with numerous current and former shelter animals. The calendar, priced at $15, is a major fundraiser for the shelter and is perfect for Christmas gifts, birthday presents or any occasion.

In addition to photographer Patrisha McLean who will be signing calendars, municipal employees, who posed with the shelter animals, will be there to greet friends and supporters of the shelter.

During the day the shelter will have kittens, dogs and cats who are up for adoption at the fair, and a variety of items for sale including t-shirts, animal prints and note paper, books about dogs, and information about the shelter and animal care.

There will be multiple events during the day including a home wine-making competition, scarecrow decorating for competition, artisan fair, ferris wheel rides (weather dependent), and antique tractor display. New winery tour, Prism Cafe cooking demo and sampling, BBQ lunch prepared by Riverfront BBQ, food and wine pairings prepared by Megunticook Market, horse-drawn wagon rides, Cafe Miranda cooking demo and sampling, Lincolnville Band performance, grape stomping, barbershop quartet performance, hula hoop demo and hot air balloon rides (weather dependent).

All Aboard Trolley will provide trolley service for guests who have parked along Youngtown Road throughout the day. Trolley service will also be provided between The Lincolnville Fall Festival at the Beach and the Winery.
