Photographer Patrisha McLean of Camden will be at the Vinfest 2010 celebration at Cellardoor Winery Saturday, Oct. 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. to sign the new Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League’s 2011 calendar.

The calendar features photographs McLean took of local municipal employees and shelter animals. The calendar, a first for the shelter, features pictures of Camden, Rockport and Lincolnville town managers, police and fire personnel posing with numerous current and former shelter animals. Priced at $15, it is a major fundraiser for the shelter and is the perfect gift for an animal lover.

In addition to photographer McLean, municipal employees who posed with the shelter animals will be on hand to greet friends and supporters of the shelter. During the day, the shelter will have kittens, dogs and cats who are up for adoption at the fair, and a variety of items for sale including T-shirts, animal prints and note paper, books about dogs and information about the shelter and animal care.

The shelter’s participation is just one of the multiple events during the day of activities including an artisan fair and performances by the Lincolnville Band and a barbershop quartet . All Aboard Trolley will provide trolley service for guests who have parked along Youngtown Road throughout the day, and trolley service also will be provided between the Lincolnville Fall Festival at the Beach and The Winery.
