Asha Fenn of Stockton Springs joined the Rockland Art Market as a guest artist and will continue through the season’s final market on Thursday, Sept. 30. Fenn sells her pottery, sculptures and other artwork with her original poetry.

“For many years, I struggled with the call to work as an artist and writer. Graduate school, marriage, jobs and other dreams competed for my energy and attention. However, I noticed that a sense of wholeness only came to me when I let myself write or paint, sculpt or throw. My days are spent embracing the creativity which fills me, rendering it into form,” she said.

The Rockland Art Market is held at Mildred Merrill Park, across from Time Out Pub, Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weather permitting). The art market also features folk making polymer clay jewelry and sculptures; wooden bowls and furniture, fine art photography; watercolor and acrylic paintings; paper and fiber arts, turkey calls and sporting items, quilts, funky hats and costume wear.
