The Windjammer Barbershop Chorus of Camden will be holding their annual show on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St..

This year’s show is titled “Barbershop Goes Western” as many of the music pieces will be of the western/country theme including “Take me Home Country Road,” “Shenandoah,” “Tumblin’ Tumbleweeds,” “16 Tons” and several more.

The chorus is also pleased to showcase their own quartet, Starboard Watch along with the Northeast District 2007 Champs Back Bay Four, a local favorite and a Sweet Adelines quartet Mainely Acapella who adds the sparkle to what would be otherwise an all male voice show.

Feel free to come dressed in your own western attire and at intermission, prizes will be given for the best western outfit. Tickets are $15 general admission and $12 for seniors/students at the door.

Advance tickets can be arranged with Nick Greenwood at 236-2159 or at Harbor Audio Video II, 236-6777. Come enjoy a wonderful evening of barbershop music which also happens to be a bit of western music.
