Amy Root of Hope and Gretchen Ostherr of Camden are offering a workshop for women the weekend of Oct. 2 and 3.

The Goddess Quest weekend is a journey into discovering, expressing and living your most unique and authentic self and will include two full days (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) of creative self expression, guided reflection, yoga, music, outdoor challenges, practical application and a connection to other women traveling the same journey. Through these avenues Root and Ostherr will guide participants to identify the characteristics of their inner goddess and make a plan for how she will show up in daily life.

Root and Ostherr bring a unique blend of experience and expertise to the weekend. By combining their individual skills and shared passion they have developed a retreat agenda focused on building trust and connections among retreat members and creating a safe, non-judgmental space for self-discovery and full expression. As facilitators, Root and Ostherr aim to use a variety of techniques to guide participants to uncovering their inner Goddess.

Root, is a lively yoga instructor, personal trainer, triathlete, nutritionist and avid outdoor enthusiast. Amy walks the talk and her enthusiasm for living authentically is contagious.

Gretchen Ostherr is a Leadership Development Consultant for LL Bean, an Outward Bound leader, a personal coach, a passionate outdoor adventurer and a group facilitator. She brings a joyful and genuine approach to life that is informed by field experience from the wilderness to the board room.
