Calling all magic users, thieves, half-orcs and halflings. The Rockport Public Library hosts a new Dungeons & Dragons Club to meet every Thursday afternoon from 3 to 5:30 pm.

D&D is one of the oldest role-playing games in existence. The game harnesses the creativity of participants as they imagine a medieval world; to
navigate successfully through that world players must develop teamwork
and problem-solving skills. Although this after-school club is
organized for players in their tweens and teens, all ages and levels of experience are welcome.

The D&D club holds its first meeting on Sept. 16; space is limited to 10 players able to attend each week and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to register, contact club coordinator James Cook at 230-0018 or jmcook@gmail.com.
