Rockland’s Penobscot School celebrates the beginning of its 25th year with a party and reception at its 28 Gay Street facility, on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. All are welcome. Penobscot School parties are free, fun, and “formidable.”

The theme of this year’s party is to kick off the fall semester (courses in seven languages plus a unique new offering, Sign Language for Children), meet the teachers, enjoy ethnic snacks and beverages, and extend a special welcome to the school’s incoming foreign exchange teacher, Alessandra Baldetti from Sienna, Italy.
